Holistic Roots has been part of the Langley community for over 10 years, offering three nurturing programs for children ages 10 months to 5 years. Our mission is to provide high-quality childcare through programs that balance learning and play while fostering a strong sense of community.
We believe that the best way to support each child’s unique personality is by creating a dynamic, holistic environment that nurtures mind, body, and soul. Our multi-perceptional approach blends hands-on experiences, teacher-led activities, and independent exploration, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and creativity in a safe and welcoming space.
At HRCC, children also enjoy enriching experiences such as sign language, yoga, phonics, gardening, and nutritious hot lunches, all supported by the loving presence of our therapy dog, Lola. Our team encourages real-world learning through field trips to local farms, visits to seniors’ centres, and neighborhood walks that teach responsibility, care for the environment, and community connection. Together, we create a nurturing space where every child can thrive and feel truly part of the HRCC family.

Our Junior Kindergarten Level 2 program is a caring space where children learn, grow, and prepare for kindergarten while building lifelong values. We focus on nurturing empathy, self-regulation, compassion, and a strong sense of community, helping little ones thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
With three dedicated educators, our classroom welcomes up to 25 children between the ages of 2.5 and 5 years, creating a supportive environment where every child is seen and celebrated.
Our Preschool program provides a nurturing environment where children explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. While preparing for the next steps in their educational journey, children also develop empathy, self-regulation, compassion, and a strong sense of community.
The classroom accommodates up to 25 children with three caring educators, and runs from 8:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., giving little ones a balanced morning of learning and play.
Our Junior Kindergarten Level 1 program offers a gentle, nurturing environment where the youngest learners can explore, discover, and grow. We focus on fostering curiosity, social-emotional development, and early learning skills, helping children build confidence, empathy, and a sense of belonging from the very start.
With three caring educators supporting a small group of 12 children, our classroom provides individualized attention and a safe, engaging space for children aged 10 months to 3 years.
At our centre, we are a community dedicated to nurturing children’s growth, curiosity, and love of learning in a holistic, supportive environment. With over 10 years serving the Langley community, we offer programs for children aged 10 months to 5 years, designed to foster confidence, empathy, compassion, and a strong sense of belonging. Our classrooms focus on social-emotional development, early literacy, and preparing children for the next steps in their educational journey. A unique part of our approach is the presence of a therapy dog, which helps children feel calm, supported, and connected. Interacting with our gentle therapy dog encourages empathy, social skills, and emotional regulation, while reading to them provides a safe, non-judgmental space to build confidence and a love of literacy.
